..and you only need to look up to realize it. We are pretty blessed to be just the right distance from our sun in order to support our kind of species. Looking up into the night sky you begin to feel small, but you also begin to see how much beauty surrounds our little world (and I mean really little in celestial terms). Chris and I will begin to focus our Astrophotography on distant space objects (i.e nebulae, star clusters, planets, etc) Yet when the opportunity presents itself we will definitely still capture the Lunar surface in all its glory. I feel very lucky to live so close to the mountains and am able to escape the light pollution. Enjoy these photos. taken (08/02/2010)
